How to Program Different Functions

Programming different functions of your Quantum lighting series is really simple and straightforward. We'll get into more detail in other videos, but let's talk about the basics first. Programming different functions of your Quantum series is exactly the same regardless of what product you have. But I'm going to use the 49" Light Bar as my example. I'll begin by powering my light bar and plugging in my USB module. The software program automatically recognizes the light bar itself and what state it's currently in. Now, when it comes to configuring your light bar, before you move on to the next step and program your inputs, you first have to configure the bar based on your respected color configuration. Once my bar is configured, I can then go on to the next step. I'll first choose an input the function that I'm desiring in this case, front flashing a desired flash pattern, perhaps attack, and my brightness level. I'll repeat the sequence for every single input and every mode that I'm desiring to program. Once complete, I'll program my device and I can activate the live mode to see it in action. Now, in the Single Color state, I'm locked into whatever colors I've previously selected in step one. If I wish to change the colors, I can do so by going back to step one and adjusting the color sequence there. Once I've made my adjustment, I can go then to the next step and configure my inputs. I can then activate live mode to see my progress. Now, we will go into further detail about these inputs and other videos, but for the basics, you have Cruise Mode, Front Flashing, Rear Flashing Arrow, Low Power Cutoff, and Pattern Change. Other functions are available in step one, such as takedowns, alleys, stop, turn, tail, and rear work lights. If I wish to apply those, I can move the takedown location simply by clicking the takedown tab as many times as I would like. Same applies for work lights and stop, turn, tail to show you how identical the step is regardless of your product. I'm gonna do the same thing with our inner light bar. I'll begin by powering my light bar by hooking it up to 12 volts. I'll unplug my 49" Light Bar and plug in my inner light bar right away. I'll notice the inner bar has been red by the software program along with its unlock level. Because Quint the highest level is unlocked, the configuration tab only shows a one step process. First, I'll select my input that I wish to program, the mode that I desire, flashing in this case, the pattern that I'm looking for and the brightness level. I'm then given the option of 5 colors to pick from, I can select all 5 colors to illuminate on a single module location. I'll go ahead and program my device And activate live mode to see that in action. If I desire a different flash pattern, such as a cluster mix that shows all the colors illuminated at the same time, I can simply do that by programming my device and then activating live mode. That concludes how the program functions on any of your Quantum devices.
