Welcome back to Feniex University. My name's Hamza, and in today's exciting video series, I'm going to tell you everything there is to know about the new Q 3-Mode and the new Q Serial lighting family. Let's dive right in. So for starters, the Q Serial is a serial connected module, while the Q 3-Mode is a 3-Mode connected module. What that means is the entire Q Serial series all connects by 2 wires to a serial link module, which gives you an expansion to 28 modes. The Q 3-Mode has 3 programmable modes. Now here's the thing to understand. Both the 3-Mode and the Serial are identical to each other. Both families have the identical product offerings. You are able to order this entire product family either in the Q 3-Mode series, which comes with 3 programmable modes on every module, or in the Q Serial series, which comes with 2 Serial wires on every single module. When taking a closer look at these 2 modules, you'll see that they look identical to each other. The Q Serial series Flat Module looks identical to the 3-Mode Flat Module. However, the Q Serial series comes with 4 wires, 2 for power and ground, and 2 serial wires that connect to the serial link module while the Q 3-Mode comes with 6 wires, ground pattern, select, color select, and 3 programmable modes. Both families offer 11 great products to pick from 27 LEDs in every module, and 5 available colors. Both product families come with a flat surface mount and a thick surface mount, a flat dual stack surface mount, and a thick dual stack surface mount. The 100 and 200 Light Stick, your mirror mounts available in 5 vehicle types. Your Under Mirror Puck, also available in 5 vehicle types, the 1X and 2X Dash Lights, the Dual Wide Surface Mount available in a thin housing, and of course the Q Serial module, which is only used on the Q Serial series. I'm gonna go ahead in the next round of videos, show you how the pattern selection and the color selection, along with zoning and phasing is programmed using the light heads, the surface mounts as our example.
